During the week of the World Meeting of Families in Philadelphia, September 2016, the Shrine of Saint Rita was visited by several thousands of visitors.  Alas, Pope Francis did not visit the Shrine or drive by it but we did have large television sets in the church to view his Mass on Sunday on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.  I took photographs of the Mass as seen on the television screen.  During the same week the relics of Saint Maria Goretti were brought to the Shrine of Saint Rita and many, many people came on the one day they were present for veneration.  Those photos are especially beautiful as they show the sincere faith of the pilgrims.  You can see all of the photos I took in the Saint Rita folder or you can see some of those photos in the Shrine publication, The Peacemaker.   Enjoy!  Father Dan
